The ADI theory part is composed of two sections: hazard perception and multiple choice questions. You must pass both the sections prior to moving to part two. You will be provided with all relevant materials and you will also receive proper mentoring.
The ADI driving part has a likeness to the present learner driving test- with this being a little longer and a little more comprehensive. You must pass this part two section before you proceed to part three. Your present driving skills will be assessed by your own personal trainer. This will help to prepare a suitably detailed training program to assist you to pass. In-car training of 10 hours will be given to you.
This part tests your ADI instructional ability. This includes two different topics, which need to be performed within an hour. The examiner will play the role of learner driver and will examine your capability to instruct by asking questions. The examiner will also make mistakes. A grade will be given to you post this test. You will be considered successful only if you receive grade 4, signifying adequacy.
